Launchpad Reading

Entry: Free or subsidised places Min. Sponsorship £75 Why run for Launchpad Reading? We help prevent homelessness in the town. We believe everyone in Reading should have a safe place to live that they can call home. We don’t think we’re asking too much. And with your help, we hope we can make it a reality. There are many faces of homelessness from rough sleepers to families crammed in temporary poor quality B&Bs or individuals relying on a friend’s floor or sofa. They are all without a home of their own. Some people are easy to help; others are very hard to help. Behind every individual there’s a hidden story. Running for us means you are helping to make Reading a better place for everyone. You’ll receive dedicated fundraising support, a Launchpad running vest and a huge amount of thanks from everyone at Launchpad. All we ask is that you register with the team, set up a fundraising page and raise a minimum of £75. To register please email

Dingley’s Promise

Entry: Free or subsidised spaces available. Min. Sponsorship £75 Why run for Dingley’s Promise? Early social/emotional and physical health development can shape the future for children. At Dingley’s Promise we support children under 5 years with additional needs and disabilities with their early year’s development. Our service has been described by parents as ‘life-changing’ – especially those in the early stages of adjusting to life with a child with additional needs. We specialise in pathways to inclusion, where 60% of children moving on from our specialist nurseries last year, went into a mainstream provision. Running for us means you can join us in supporting more children with additional needs and disabilities to receive the best start in life. In return you will receive dedicated fundraising support, t-shirt and the biggest smile of thanks from our children. All we ask is to register with the team, set up a fundraising page and raise a minimum of £75. To register please e-mail
